In my personal outlook
on Pride and Prejudice, I found that
although the wording is archaic the plot is young. It is full of: typical
family drama, sibling jealousy, young love, stubbornness, and a sharp division
in social classes. While reading this book you find yourself in the rural Longbourn,
England sipping on English tea watching the love story of Elizabeth Bennet and
Mr. Darcy unfold from hatred to true love.
On these cold winter
days you cannot help but to make a cup of coco and grab a copy of Pride and
Prejudice and read all day because the story line just warms your spirit. Just
like the book’s movie it is the typical “chick flick” because of the romance
and happily ever after ending. It includes the typical family conflicts, men
drama, young love, and the gaps between social classes. The arrogant guy turns
into the kind-hearted compassionate gentleman, the young girl falls in love to
easy, and the obsessive mother worries more of her family’s image then her
girls’ happiness.
